Osmo Action: How to Download Video & Photos to Computer or Phone
Download Videos & Photos from Osmo Action
You've shot some awesome photos and videos with your Osmo Action, and now it's time to edit and post - but what is the best way to get videos from the Osmo Action? We'll cover all the ways in this article/YouTube video to find out!
Computer, Osmo Action & USB-C
The first way to download video from the Osmo Action is one of my personal favorites - which is using the USB-C cable that the Osmo Action came with. This is one of my favorite ways because not only are you taking your photos and videos off of the Osmo Action, you're also charging the camera as well while you're doing it! And honestly, the micro SD card is kind of a pain in the butt to get out if you have short fingernails like me. But that being said, that leads us into the next way to get videos off Osmo Action.
Computer & SD Card
This method is another simple way to take all of your photos and videos off of the Osmo Action, if you have a Macbook Pro or other computer with a SD card slot, this is a more appealing method because you don't have to carry around a SD card reader, but nonetheless - just popping the micro SD card out of the slot and plugging it into a USB reader is a very effecting and fast way to get files from the Osmo Action.
Phone & Osmo Action
This is one of the quickest ways to get photos and videos from the Osmo Action to your phone, I like using this method for quickly posting to Instagram and Facebook since you can save the photos/videos directly to your camera roll.
To save photos and videos from the Osmo Action to your phone, you'll have to download the Mimo app. Connect your Osmo Action to the Mimo app and click the little play button in the bottom right hand corner. From here you can see all of your photos and videos. Clicking on one will give you the option to save it to your device. Easy-peasy!
